CrownBet Bookie report – EAGLE FARM Saturday 4 February

Race 1 – MORENDI $4.60, won from THREE POINTS, COURT’S STAR

Morendi opened $4.60, was well supported into $3.40 but drifted to start at $4.60 as the late money came for runner up Three Points who was well supported from $10 into $5 to narrowly miss out.

Race 2 – RED HOT MISS $13, won from PINSTRYKE, BERAHT

The market suggested this would be a one horse affair with Trestrail supported from $3 into $1.80 to disappoint quite a few punters. Red Hot Miss never had much support drifting from $8 top $13.

Race 3 – QUATRONIC $3.60, won from HI I’M BACK, ALL TROOPS

Quatronic was too good for them in the third race despite the late drift from $3 out to $4. Second placed Hi I’m Back had plenty of friends coming in from $13 to $8.

Race 4 – DIVINE SERVICE $3.60, won from UPSTART BRIDE, BILLY DA BOSS

Divine Service was well found from $7.50 into $3.60. Prompt Return ($6.50 into $4.60) and Skylimit ($7.50 into $5.50) had good support in a competitive betting race.

Race 5 – DEE NINE ELLE $3.80, won from MYSTIC OPAL, FLEUR D’ORAGE

Dee Nine Elle landed some good results for punters, receiving solid support from $4.80 into $3.80. Drumbeat’s Choice was also well supported from $11 into $5.

Race 6 – HOTEL COSTE $18, won from LA CIGALE, ALWAYS SACRED

Hotel Coste was specked from $20 into $16 to eventually score at $18. The well backed favourite Candika was $6 heavily backed into $2.10. Always Sacred also had support from $14 into $7.50.

Race 7 – COLOUR CHARGE $51, won from HUDSON COUNTY, BEATNIKS

Good betting race however it was Colour Change at $51 who scored from the well backed Hudson County ($8.50 into $4.80) and Beatniks ($8.00 into $4.40). Fifth placed L’entrecote had early support from $6 into $3.60, to draft back out to $5.

 Race 8 – OINK $4.60, won from RINGO’S A ROCKSTAR, BOLD SHOT

Oink had good support from $6 into $4.80, while runner-up Ringo’s A Rockstar was also well found ($4.40 into $3.20).

Just Racing Week End Overview:

Horse to Follow: Formality, smart 2 year old who got home 8 lengths quicker than unbeaten 2 year old Jukebox on the same day admittedly over a shorter distance.

Ride of The Day: Have to give it to the Gauch on his last day in the saddle on Goodwill.

Run of The Day: In Her Time who sat wide with no cover the trip to win the Group 2 Breeders Classic.

Forget It Ran: Mystic Opal who was given an absolute B Grade ride by former Group 1 jockey L Cassidy. Will be making amends very shortly.
