Race 1 – TOP ME UP $9.50, won from KING’S COMMAND, SADAQA.

Top Me Up was weak in the market opening $7 before starting at $9.50. King’s Command was very heavily supported early being $21 into $9.50 before drifting to start at $15. Best supported were Dusty Jack and Cannysescent who both finished unplaced.

Race 2 – ALOFT $9.50, won from HURSLEY, DODGING BULLETS.

Best supported was the unplaced Try Four who opened $11 before starting at $6. Hursley had support opening at $3.50 before starting the $3.20 favourite. Aloft was always solid in the market.

Race 3 – FALCOOL $11, won from KEN’S DREAM, SHERIFF JOHN STONE.

Falcool was easily the best supported opening $15 before starting at $11. Ken’s Dream had support being $5.50 into $5. Unplaced Power Trip had solid support being $41 before starting at 517.

Race 4 – SIRCCONI $11, won from ASPECT, FENG CHU.

Eshtiraak was easily the best supported runner opening $3.60 and starting the $2.50 favourite before finishing out the placings. Sircconi was easy opening $8.50 before starting $11. Aspect opened $8.50 before starting $ $6.50 and Toga Picta opened $12 before starting $8 both had support.

Race 5 – I AM A STAR $2.10, won from ELLICAZOOM, KENEDNA.

I Am A Star is the one punters wanted opened at $3.40 before touching $1.95 then starting at $2.10. Unplaced Red Is The Rose had support opening at $26 before starting at $17.

Race 6 – CIRCULAR $3.50, won from ZASORCERESS, MISS ROSE DE LAGO.

Circular was the best backed runner being $6.50 into start $3.50 favourite. Others that had support were placed Miss Rose De Lago being $7 into $5.50 and the unplaced Sebring Dream who was $14 before starting at $9.50.

Race 7 – REDKIRK WARRIOR $34, won from VOODOO LAD, STAR TURN.

The winner was unwanted opening $31 before starting at $34. Extreme Choice before finishing unplaced was best backed being $5.50 to $4 and starting favourite. Voodoo Lad had good support opening $19 before touching $13 before starting $17. The winner’s stablemate Sheidel also had good support opening $11 before starting at $9.

Race 8 – HUMIDOR $4.20, won from JAMEKA, EXOSPHERIC.

Humidor was always solid in the market opening $4.20 getting into $3.20 before getting back out to $4.20. Jameka had supporters along with The United States who opened $7 before starting at $5.50.

Race 9 – ROCKET TOMMY $3.80, won from BULLPIT, LONROCKSTAR.

Rocket Tommy was easily best supported opening at $6 before starting the $3.80 favourite. Both placegetters had little support with Bullpit opening $9.50 before starting at $13 and Lonrockstar out the door being $23 out to $41.

Left It In The Bag: Try Four was very heavily supported being $11 into $6 before finishing unplaced.

Friendless: Redkirk Warrior was unwanted before winning the Newmarket.

 

Rosehill – Saturday March 11

Race 1 –  SPECTROSCOPE $3.30, won from EXTENSIBLE, BRING LUCK.

By far the best supported runner was Fly Forward who was $15 into $3.80 before finishing unplaced. Spectroscope and Extensible were both well supported being $4.40 into $3.30 and $3.30 into $3 respectively.

Race 2 – ARTISTRY $6, won from DOTHRAKI, FICKLE FOLLY.

Dothraki was best supported runner opening $2.50 before starting $2.25, stablemate and winner Artistry opened $4 but drifted to start $6. 3rd placegetter had good support being $41 before starting at $19.

Race 3 – SINGLE BULLET $6, won from DUCIMUS, CORUSCATE.

Ducimus was easily best supported opening $3.70 before starting $2 favourite. The winner opened at $6 had some support before easing back to start $6 from the support shown for Ducimus.

Race 4 – TULIP $5, won from ALIZEE, MOMENTO.

Best supported was the unplaced Limbo Soul who was $3.30 into $2.60 before starting at $2.90. Both Tulip and Alizee were solid in the marker with 3rd placegetter Momento being friendless opening at $14 before starting at $67.

Race 5 – TAVAGO $8, won from ANTONIO GIUSEPPE, ALLERGIC.

Winner Tavago had some support being $9.50 in to start $8 with Who Shot The Barman attracting good early support opening $11, touching $6.50 before starting $9. Favourite had good support but finished slightly longer than his opening at $2.10.

Race 6 – FOXPLAY $1.90, won from ZENALICIOUS, COMIC SET.

The winner Foxplay had was the best supported runner starting $1.90 after opening at $2.70 with 2nd placegetter Comic Set also very well backed opening $18 before starting at $9. Lots of runner had solid specking in the race.

Race 7 – HEAVENS ABOVE $15, won from SILENT SEDITION, DANISH TWIST.

Heavens Above was very well supported opening at $26 before saluting at $15. Silent Sedition, Global Glamour, Euro Angel, Daysee Doom and Thames Court all had support. Race favourite Omei Sword had little support.

Race 8 – IT’S SOMEWHAT $10, won from NEW TIPPERARY, TESTASHADOW.

The best supported runner was the unplaced He’s Our Rokki who $6 into $4.40 favourite ahead of Cylinder Beach who opened $11 and touched $5 before starting at $7. The winner was $7 out to $10.

Race 9 – HOGMANAY $3.80, won from GREEN SWEET, HUNTER JACK.

Hogmanay had supporters being $4.40 into $3.80. The 2 best supported runners were Wine Bush who opened $6.50 before finishing unplaced favourite at $3.60 and Hunter Jack who was $9.50 into $5.50 before starting at $6.50.
