RACE 2          Maiden2YO fillies                            1100M

 NO.2               ENVY OF ALL

This looks the perfect race for the James Cummings 2yo filly Envy Of Time following two solid career runs to date. Last start she looked home till the smart Viridine grabbed her late and that colt won again last Saturday remaining undefeated. There is good speed which should enable her new rider Hugh Bowman which is an added bonus to settle handy with an economical run which should allow her to show the dash she posses. I am tipping the race experience will prove the difference as her main danger looks to be the unraced Godolphin filly Tiki Bar. She has been to the trials four times and looked well above average each time. Her latest trial over 798 when finding the line looks to have her primed.

 RACE 3          Benchmark 70    3YO       1250M

 NO.7               ZONK

The form around Zonk is pretty solid and with a drop in trip that will suit she looms as very hard to beat to my eye. First up this time in mind you it was only her second career start she got the job done at Gosford when looking very raw. Broodwar ran second that day and she has gone onto win beating El Venetian who won yesterday at Kembla. A fourth to White Moss 1350m then second to the same galloper at Warwick Farm 1400m when looking a shade disappointing was a good effort. White Moss ran second last start at Rosehill and the third horse Medaille looked very good winning last week in town. The drop back from 1400m to today’s distance of 1250m looks ideal especially when it looks as though there is not much speed on paper outside of Uptown Lad. If she jumps cleanly I think she can possie up and prove very hard to hold out. From the tempo angle I think Uptown Lad is the obvious danger at good odds.
