Race 1: Eight Over– I’m hoping the gelding has sparked him up. His trial a fortnight ago was solid. Lack of opposition gives him top spot.

Race 2: Playing both Addictive Nature & Blazeray.

Addictive Nature has looked very smart in the trials and been heavily backed in early betting.

Blazeray has raced twice with two good efforts the latest in a race with depth. The addition of blinkers should also help as will gate 2.

Race 3: Very hard to split Long Time Ago and Dahooil.

Long Time Ago was good winning first up over 1250m and today’s 1400m looks ideal.

Dahooil – I like this filly and believe she has a bright future. She has loomed and hasn’t found the line as yet but looks a major player here.

Race 4: La Chica Bella looks to get control up front and should be very hard to run down.

Fournette from gate 1 should get a perfect run and I think the drop back to the mile will help as she struggled at the 1900m last start.

Race 5: Yarrapower is flying this preparation and looks the one to beat. Last start he ran second to Star Crossed who came to town last week and won while the third horse Kings Of Leon did the exact same winning at Warwick Farm.

Race 6: GO TO THE BAR

Race 7: Vanell broke his maiden last start and looked good in doing so. Looks a promising type and Bowman on board gives him top billing here.

Bon Equus was outstanding last week when coming from a mile back to be beaten three lengths over 1250. The mile suits so does the blinkers going back on.

I think both Invicta and Roeinda will run well at odds.
