I was impressed with the first up run of SPENDING TO WIN when nailed late by Kings Of Leon at Warwick Farm. That run was always going to bring him on and from an ideal gate he should be able to take up a prominent position with a distinction lack of speed on paper. With Bowman on board he stands out as the bet of the day.

Race 6             No.8    So Willie

SO WILLIE is flying at present showing his versatility on all surfaces. He was terrific last start over the mile off a 21 day break and although he hasn’t won past the mile I think this time around he is going better than ever and from a soft draw he can run it out strongly. I think his big danger is Sound Proposition but I am banking on the 7kg difference in weight enabling So Willie to get the chocolates.
