If the run up to trials (and jumps trials are sometimes are not as indicative as they might be on the flat)but 3 GUILTY AS CHARGED might be better valued than 10 DANE HUSSLER (who on face value didn’t trial as well on the same day though has clearly superior flat ability than all of these combined) but the market discrepancy is too attractive for me. 4 HE’S AGENIUS turned in his worst performance last time, can forgive that here. 6 MUSIC TO MIDNIGH, Thus enough flat ability to respect, and can improve sharply off moderate” debut.

This is where it gets a bit silly. 4 MURPHY’S DELIGHT should win, was down for the maiden hurdle and ends up around $1.65 in a BM 120 – tells you about the race. Lack of opposition for useful flat performer learning his jumping craft is enough, especially when 1 STORMIN NORMAN– who has won two, but that was some two plus years ago. 2 TREMEC is useful enough on flat to figure here and 8 DON’T BE SHY can run a place in the moderate race.

The too obvious here is 5 FENG CHU – form reads better than these in better races. Jump outs look good enough and should win. No, gimme though. 7 SPIRIT OF AQUADA was very good resuming and wants 1200m. Ditto 4 DOMINANT WITNESS. Reckon 3 BORN TO FIGHT bounces off sound debut and stable uses this track well to progress these sort of horses.

Race 5: 10-8-9-7
The mail here (1st leg of quaddie – a maiden!) is 10 ANGELIC SPIRIT – trial was earlier in the season, money is now. Follow it. 8 THE BALD EAGLE ($160k yearling in good hands) jumped out well Flem last month, ready to go. 9 YUE FEI resumes and jumped out alongside brilliant debut winner Esperance. A bit of depth here and going forward.7 SISKIYOU also looks to have the ability.

Even race this with most stuck around the BM 78 (though stayer Tristram’s Sun resumes off a BM 84 with a claim and non-winner 2 ORUJO – chance- runs off a BM 81). Mind you he has a few mates this race. Going with 3 SUPER FUN fresh at the 1000m.9 MAGNETARrespected,7 CHARLIE GARCON tracks well against these.
Race 7: 11-6-1-5
The Even contest, tempo the key for the top pick 11 DANCE FOR ME but Oliver gets that right in race seemingly set up for him. 6 KACHING main danger resuming, has group form and this BM70. After that, it falls away a bit and happy to leave them as only two for quaddies. 1 BALLET MASTER and 5 ELEGANT QUEEN if you want some cheap insurance.

Not dropping off 7 CURVATURE after losing return, had positive jump out since and overall form good enough to win a BM 64. 6 BONS AWAY has run well in two good form races this time in while 5BEL BLASTER comes through same and suited Sale. 12 DAZZY’S DAY was pretty good on pace in 3YO fillies race in town the last start.
