Apprentice James Innes Jr will see a physiotherapist in a bid to be fit to ride at Rosehill.

Innes hurt his shoulder in an incident at Kembla Grange on Thursday aboard Teodosio who was crowded between runners shortly after the start of a 1000m-race.

Trained by Innes’ master Gerald Ryan, Teodosio ran home to finish second.

Ryan said Innes, who has five booked rides at Rosehill on Saturday, would have treatment on Friday afternoon and ride trackwork in the morning to test his fitness.
