The world’s highest-ranked horse Arrogate has been beaten for the second time in his past two starts at Del Mar, this time by his Bob Baffert-trained stablemate Collected.

The Dubai World Cup winner travelled in third place in the Pacific Classic with Collected leading the way from Accelerate who won the San Diego Classic in which Arrogate was fourth.

Arrogate launched his challenge in the final stages, passing Accelerate but could not catch Collected.
