Champion racemare Winx has stretched her sequence to 20 wins in claiming the George Main Stakes at Randwick.

After giving away a sizeable start and being put under pressure at the 800m, Winx surged in the straight to beat Happy Clapper in her 13th Group One win.

“She’s done it again, she’s such a delight to be a part of,” jockey Hugh Bowman said.
