2 SWEET CAVIAR has found an easy enough maiden to break through today. She just the informs BERHART last time out, and from the inside gate here can either lead or box seat and looks hard to beat.

A good race for 1 DEER MOUNTAIN to kick off a winner in his first start in QLD. The Edmonds stable has a knack of improving these Segenhoe horses from NSW. The trial was good, and from the 1 gate with J Lloyd on board, I expect him to be on speed and winning.

I like the way this race maps for 1 CASCATA ROSSA. Although it’s a small field, there looks to be genuine speed in the race, which willow allow the horse to balance up early, come away from the inside and get clear air out wide and run home over the top of them late.

It’s a 2 horse race here for mine, 1 KUTTAMURRA AL & 8 FUTURE EVENT. I’d be happy to rove those 2 in trifectas. If had to single out one, slight leaning to 8 FUTURE EVENT with the weight difference.
