Winx has made a one-act affair of the Group One Turnbull Stakes, the final lead-up race in her bid to claim a third Cox Plate.

In extending her winning sequence to 21, Winx had the Flemington race in her keeping a long way from the finishing post.

Winx defeated Ventura Storm by 6-1/2 lengths with Humidor taking the minor placing in the field of seven.
