Race 1: 5-1-2-4
Ok it’s a big weekend with better races to bet on than this. But tipping you in to DODGING BULLETS to get the punt rolling and with some confidence, buoyed by lack of opposition. EXTRA ZERO has never won this track (13 goes) but well placed. GUARDINI will improve this level. C’mon Craig (Williams), lift and deliver best form here.

Race 2: 1-4-6-7
Country Cup conditions look ideal for first-up Listed Stake performer MASTER RESET (3 from 6 at MV) and winner 4/6 2nd up. RIB EYE is flying, CARRAIG AONAIR holding form, LAUGHING HEIR honest and has Rib Eye form.
SUGGESTED: Back MASTER RESET
Race 3: 8-5-6-7
Been big go here for FOX HALL, respect that for sure but happy to go with IMPERATOR AUGUSTUS who ran into a red hot form galloper last time. They should fight out finish.
SUGGESTED: Backing IMEPERATOR AUGUSTUS, saving on quinella.
Race 4: 1-5-6-4
MADEENATY is better placed here than when got outsped in 955 last time. Not worried outside gate. Better value than the unbeaten SMART COUPE and they should fight it out. NATURE STRIP good on debut maiden company.
SUGGESTED: Looks a perfect race for MADEENATY.
Race 5: 3-10-12-13
As hard as it gets but LADY ESPRIT has won 2, placed 3 others from 6 starts here and drawn to advantage and should have won one of these last campaign. Safest way to go. After that very even. APPALACHIAN ANNIE tends to run well here. REBEL MISS comes from Sydney with record good enough.
SUGGESTED: LADY ESPRIT each-way at the odds.
Race 6: 4-5-6-10
The Pinker Pinker at Cranbourne looks the right form race for these potentially Oaks hopefuls and FALIKA was very good there winning after knuckling at the start and beat home SMART AS YOU THINK and HISTORY REPEATS who are in the game here (plus others). Different blood is SEBRING DREAM, already a winner here.
SUGGESTED: FALIKA on top in even race.
Race 7: 2-1-9-3
What a race. Everest like but a different stage and pattern. Williams got it wrong on VEGA MAGIC in Sydney, surely not here, and not from 3. The one to beat and will have CHAUTAUQUA looming large late. IN HER TIME was brilliant here Tuesday morning and building great profile. MALAGUERRA the value.

Race 8: 2-3-12-1
Another competitive race, BASSETT has good record here and builds nicely into this 3rd run back. MISS GUNPOWDER was sound resuming, slightly sticky gate but good enough. SUSPENSE had blinkers last time here and every chance 2nd but will get same again.
SUGGESTED: Go with BASSETT
