Redzel has confirmed his rating as one of Australia’s premier sprinters as he extended a winning streak to claim the Group One Darley Classic at Flemington.

Winner of the inaugural $10 million Everest at Randwick last month, Redzel, the $4 favourite, defeated Terravista ($31) by three-quarters of a length with the same margin to Impending ($9.50) in third.

Redzel has now won his past six starts, a sequence that started during the Sydney autumn carnival.
