2 DESIRABLE MISS 1 VICEMAN and 3 PRUE’S ANGEL look the 3 that settle on speed and look to fight out the finish. I’m leaning to 2 DESIRABLE MISS to sit in the first 2 and give a great sight here fresh, and at the price can entertain a small Each Way bet, without a heap of confidence.

7 JUSTIFY comes to the races for the first time, with the experience of 3 trials. Of the horses that have raced, 3 STAR ROCK comes to QLD for the first time after a couple of runs in Victoria. He trialed well at the Gold Coast, and gets blinkers first time here, which shows some intent.

6 SIR BARNABUS caught the eye at his first start, hitting the line well. He hasn’t been seen since, but with natural improvement on that effort he will be competitive here. The market will be the guide to how he is going, happy to be on him if there is some support. 17 ELLA DIVINE was shuffled out the back before making good late ground at her first start, if she can settle a little closer can be in the finish. 12 SPLITTER has drawn wide, has some ability and can figure also.

Difficult enough race to line up with the Sydney form sure to attract attention. 4 PARK CHINOIS looks clear best of the locals, and with the run under his belt he can win here second up. 5 SOLAR PATCH has been there about without really threatening in his recent Sydney runs, looks the danger.

4 FOX FORCE FIVE was a good first up win at the Gold Coast, really attacking the line late, and looks to be in for a good preparation. 1 DIAPASON competed in stronger races than this last preparation, has had 2 trials in readiness for this, and his first up record is 1 from 1. Expect her to be in the finish here. 7 PEGAPUS should strip fitter here second up, and is also a chance.

An 800m scamper around IPSWICH is not really a race I want to be betting into, and unfortunately it’s a leg of the QD. If have to zero in on one, it would be 7 TRUCULENT who has drawn t o find the rail first, has J LLOYD and is an each way chance.

5 ZENDAYE did enough when winning first up at KILCOY when favorite. I like the fact he stays at 1200m again, as he looked like he would take benefit from the first up run. He comes here fit now, and looks the leader and the clear one to beat. 3 ALWAYS SACRED is consistent and can figure along with 2 SHADOW LORD who draws to trail the leader.

The KEITH NOUD at listed level here, after it was washed out on Saturday, and a very competitive field. A number of quality performers, vs. a few that have race fitness on their side, which makes it difficult to line up. Ina very open race, I’m leaning to the outsider of the field to cause a boil over in 11 IN HIS STRIDE. He will be fitter for his first up run, and with the likes of UPSTART PRIDE rolling along in front, fitness will be crucial on a fast speed. He will be out the back early, and watch for him flying late, hopefully over the top of them all.

12 SCARLETT HUSSIE smashed a similar class field last time, and looks set to repeat the dose here. 3 HIGH WIND is consistent without winning and should push forward here and sit on speed and figure in the finish. 7 TENESSEE FLING hasn’t been far away this prep, and gest blinkers first time today. 5 LIKE A RULER will likely lead and can figure in the minor money.
