Looks to be a clash between 11 CRUSHER & 6 INVINCIBLE HEART. 11 CRUSHER was a pass mark first up, raced on speed before tiring late to finish 4L from the winner. She will land on speed again, and be hard to run down. 6 INVICIBLE HEART comes out of the same race as CRUSHER, and beat her home 1.4L on that occasion. I think she can trail CRUSHER here, and beat her home again.

Another even QLD Saturday staying event, with 3 THE RUMOUR FILE holding favoritism. He has been a model of consistency in this grade and is the horse to beat. I’m happy to play one at value, in the form of 1 RULING DYNASTY. I thought his effort in stronger grade last time was really good, and with an economical trip here can definitely be in the finish. His Melbourne form will have him a EW chance here.

No reason for me to drop off 13 SUSURRI, who I was on EW last time out. She just got held up a stride or 2 coming to the corner behind the tiring leader, and lost momentum at a critical time. She managed to get going and hit the line well. The Barry Lockwood stable is white hot form, and she is an EW hope again here.

Nice competitive race here with a number of hopes. I liked the trial of 4 MIGHTY LIKE, and happy to see M McGillivray on here off the trial. This horse has a good first up record, and with a nice run behind a good speed looks a great chance. 3 FLAMBOYER has trialed really well also, he will race near the speed and be hard to beat. 5 ZUMBELINA is also hope, who should enjoy a nice run.
