This bloke is no star make no mistake but there is none in this race. Perun was purchased with the realisation that he would always need time and improve as the journeys got longer. He has aced six times and only filled the placings once which was over the 2000m trip in his previous preparation. This time in he has raced over 1500 and 1900m and is now ready for todays 2100m and there lack of quality opposition. New Horizons looks the only possible danger but if Perun get the opportunity to roll into the race he will take plenty of stopping.

RACE 4      NO.8 LILITH

Going off her cracking debut effort when narrowly beaten at Randwick this race looks picture perfect for the filly to record win number one. She should jump on or near the bunny and against this lot who mind you look to have their share of ability but this girl should get the job done.

RACE 5      NO.8 OXFORD ANGEL

She had trailed like a bomb twice before everything went wrong on debut when she began poorly and with the leader running along was a mile off the bunny. I thought she did a super job to get as close as she did and with that experience under her belt she will take plenty of beating here. Blake Shinn takes over the reins just to add some experience and although this race has more depth than her debut run i think she is smart enough to take the required step.
