1 TUMULTUOS just wore down 2 OUTRAGED late in Magic Millions stayers Cup, with 2 OUTRAGED a big effort sitting wide throughout. 1 TUMULTUOS meets 2 OUTRAGED 4Kg worse off, and that will be enough for 2 OUTRAGED to turn the tables. 4 MORENDI & 5 INGEEGOODBE to battle out the minors.

5 FRANCISCA was never a winning hope last start, coming from well back in a leader-dominated race at Doomben. The big straight here should give her every chance to wind up and steam home over the top of her rivals. Willing to give 2 CRUZE another chance here, who can finish in the money. He looked like a horse in need of 1600m last start, when left a touch flat footed and cramped for galloping room in the straight. 9 KEEP YOUR ROSES, would have been second pick, but for the bad gate.

1 DOUBT DEFYING was a forgive run last start, when settled 3 wide and back, then pushed widest runner on the corner and making no impression in a fast last 600m. From the good alley he can settle closer in the run and is a good winning hope. 3 HETUKA ZARSHO looks like he is ready for the step to the mile, as he didn’t get warm until late last start. 5 REALING is another who will appreciate getting back to this trip and with a better draw may have been top pick.

1 HOPES ETERNAL has competed against some of QLD’s best babies, and the big Sunshine Coast track looks very suitable for him here. He was only 0.75L from the winner when a good run behind MERYL last start, and he comes here cherry ripe to be winning. 7 SIZZLING ACE has an awkward gate, but she looks a nice style of filly, who hasn’t had things go her way in her short career. She was on speed in a fast lead time last start, with luck here can win. I think the race is between these 2.

1 COLINELLE back to the 1000m and a good draw looks to be the key factors in her returning to the winners list. She’s been brave in all her 3 runs this prep and this looks as good a race to break through as any this preparation. Her foil from last time out, 3 JUST ORM gets a similar run and is a chance again. 14 YARRAPOWER should trail the leader, and back to 1000m will be more suitable. 9 MALVERN ESTATE has a good record at this track and trip and should be respected.

7 SHOWUS YA DIAMONDS was visually impressive last time out, and the clock backed up her performance. She didn’t beat much, but she did it in good style. She will need to step up to this grade here, but she looks capable. 5 BESARA was a good winner last time, when resuming from a spell. She strips fitter again second up and looks hardest to beat. These 2 fillies look the 2 going forward from this and expect them to fight out the finish.

4 PRIORITISE has been punishing to watch for backers this prep, and again last start he looked to be something beaten in a harder race than this. I’m hoping the elect to roll forward and quietly lob outside BOLD SHOT, and if the real PRIORITISE stands up, he should put these away. 13 NILETTE can lob the spot on the back of PRIORITSE, she is consistent and deserves a win at this level. 3 LOTHARIO will get back, but be steaming home late.

Race 8
13 PRUES ANGEL looks the hardest to beat here. She was a good run from the back last time, when flashing late in good closing sectionals. Drawn a much better gate here, she will settle a lot closer and will be hard to hold out. 8 REAL EGO closed off good late, when resuming with a third at Ipswich. He has found a nice race second up here, from the good draw he should be able to settle just behind the speed and get his chance late in the straight. He looks a nice each way chance. 10 IVE GOTTA NEL looks to be the leader, and he can certainly give them something to catch rolling along in front.

Race 9
Looks to be genuine speed here with 10 DREAMS APLENTY 7 FLAMBOYER 14 IM A RIPPA all looking to roll along in front setting a solid clip. This will be survival of the fittest, so I’m looking to those suited to genuine run 1400m that are tough enough to finish off hard. 1 MOST IMPORTTANT is a tough campaigner, who was beaten by a nice one in CARE TO THINK last start; he is a winning chance here. Although he is drawn awkward in gate 12, he is drawn better than 3 SOMEDAY 5 TORGERSEN & 6 FAROLITOS who have drawn horribly, but with luck are chances. 9 MIGHTY LIKE is one that appeals at the each way price. I really liked his win first up at the Gold Coast, and think he improves again into this. He has run some excellent races on good speeds over this trip in Melbourne, and with fitness improvement off his first up win, is right in the mix.

Race 10
Hopefully we have plenty of gas in the tank, as we head into the last leg of the “Decathlon”. The get out looks to be a wide open affair, so looking for a bit of value. 11 RHYMING looked to show a glimpse of her best, when a dominant winner at Toowoomba last start. She dashed up well when presented for the run, and is a winning hope here on her best form. 17 HONEY HOLT closed well late when 3rd last start. She will appreciate the 1400m third up and with luck in running is a hope. 1 CHIVADAHLI is an interesting runner at big odds. He wasn’t far off in races of this caliber, before heading north and dominating the CQ cup circuit. His run first up was good and expect the big track here to suit him storming down the middle. I’m happy to play him EW at + $20
