ROYAL ADVANCE debuts here off the back of two solid barrier trials. At his first hit out he didn’t begin that well while the stablemate Dinnigan ran them along. I like the way he kept finding albeit under riding. His latest trial he began better and led and when challenged he kept fighting. He looks like he still has plenty to learn but with the lack of good quality opposition I think he can debut with a win.
RACE 8 NO.1 SCHUBERT
SCHUBERT resumes here following a six month break as a gelding and hopefully ready to fulfil his potential. In his two trials leading into this run he was asked to work and to find the line over the short 800m hit outs. Being first up over 1300m should suit him and with only a moderate field up against him, if he is going to be a city class horse he should be able to account fo4r them here. I am looking for market support as I have him shorter than the current $3.5 being offered around.
