Prompt Response has scored an overdue win at Group One level, claiming the $500,000 Tattersall’s Tiara at Doomben.

In an all-interstate finish, Prompt Response beat fellow Sydneysider Shillelagh with the Melbourne-trained Super Cash filling the minor placing.

The Tatt’s Tiara is the final Group One race on the Australian racing calendar with Prompt Response’s win giving co-trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott their third elite-level success for the season.
