WHYPEEO had his first start in Melbourne three weeks ago and did a good job against the top grade when beaten just over two lengths behind Ball Of Muscle, Voodoo Lad, Brave Smash and company. He should cruise across here and sit handy and a repeat of that run and the experience around Caulfield should have him in the gun most of the way.

RACE 6                        NO.9                REGINAE

There is no stable in the country having more success with travelling horses than Kris Lees and his filly REGINAE looks hard to beat here. She was very good three weeks ago when strong through the line beating the Godolphin pair Condemned and Ranier. From a soft draw and her ability with tactical speed Mark Zahra should possie her up wherever she is happy ready to pounce. She’s a nice filly going places and this is her chance to show it.

RACE 7                        NO.10              NIGHT’S WATCH

Four runs back this preparation following winning at the Caulfield 2000m prior to going to the paddock and he should be cherry ripe and be hard to beat. Last start he never stopped coming when beaten at the mile and in a race with a fair tempo expected he should settle around midfield and be hard to hold out. The step to 2000m looks ideal for the son of Redwood and with the combination of Damien Lane and Darren Weir
