Winx has cemented her place as one of the greatest thoroughbreds of the Australian turf after winning the Cox Plate for a record fourth time.

Stretching her winning sequence to 29, Winx defeated Benbatl and Humidor in a history-making edition of the race known as the weight-for-age championship of Australasia.

The win also marked Winx’s 22nd at Group One level and took her prize money earnings to almost $22.9 million.
