Winx has been given a searching gallop in a barrier trial at Rosehill with jockey Hugh Bowman pushing her to the line to finish third.

Bowman says she feels as good as ever as she prepares for her return in the Apollo Stakes on February 16.

Tuesday’s trial is her second this month with the mare expected to run in four races in what will be her final campaign.
