RACE 4 NO.5 BEAUTY KANAS
In a race without much depth BEAUTY KANAS looks a mare with plenty of upside that can make it two city wins on the trot. She comes here five weeks between a run which is a little concern after winning with plenty of grit at Randwick last time out. She looks to grab the race early and may well lead with Blake Shinn on board but she has the added bonus of taking a sit if the speed is too hot.

RACE 7 NO.4 WAYANKA
He isn’t easy to catch WAYANKA but I think a repeat of his first up effort behind Brazen and Dealmaker and he will be getting the chocolates here. His pet trip looks to be 1400m having won at it three times but around Canterbury where he can jump on the bunny I don’t think 1550m will pose any issues.
