Favourite draws 12 in All-Star Mile

The two Godolphin runners in the inaugural $5 million All-Star Mile at Flemington have drawn contrasting barriers in the field of 14 plus four emergencies.

The favourite for Saturday’s race, Alizee, is drawn to start from barrier 12 while her stablemate Hartnell will jump from two.

Happy Clapper, who made a race of it last start with champion Winx in the Chipping Norton Stakes at Randwick, will jump from barrier nine with the top vote getter in the public poll, South Australian galloper Balf’s Choice, to start from gate three.
