Capacity field to run in Queensland Oaks

A capacity field of three-year-old fillies is set line up in the Group One Queensland Oaks at Doomben.

Saturday’s 2200m race has attracted 16 acceptors with a further five emergencies and is headed by Princess Jenni, winner of the Australasian Oaks at Morphettville at her most recent start.

Princess Jenni will be ridden by Damien Oliver.

The Queensland Oaks in 2015 catapulted Winx to stardom beginning an unbeaten winning sequence of 25 consecutive Group One races.

Winx’s trainer Chris Waller has four runners in Saturday’s race – Welsh Legend, Savigne, Lady Cuvee and Duchess Of Lennox – along with fifth emergency Re Edit.

The Matt Cumani-trained Dunlani has drawn the inside barrier for Jordan Childs with Duchess Of Lennox drawing widest in 21.
