The Bull’s failure at Randwick as favourite has been explained by his second bleeding attack which means he incurs a lifetime ban from racing in Australia.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained four-year-old led before weakening to finish 18 lengths last in a 1400m-race on Saturday.
Bott told stewards The Bull was found to have bled from both nostrils after he returned to the stables on Saturday evening.
His previous bleed came in a barrier trial in April last year.
