Crystal Chief is simply outstanding value to make a winning return to the races at Wangaratta this afternoon.

He started his career with a couple of excellent efforts at Caulfield and Flemington and this is a genuine drop in class.

Barrier four is ideal and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Daniel Moor in the saddle.

Wangaratta – Race 7 4:00PM AEST

No. 2 Don’t Make Me Wait – Bet Now: $14.00

Don’t Make Me Wait is well and truly over the odds to make a winning return to the races this afternoon.

He went to another level at the end of his most recent campaign and if he is able to reproduce that sort of effort he will prove very tough to beat.

1300 metres is short of his best trip, but I still expect him to produce a forward effort first-up.

Wangaratta – Race 8 4:30PM AEST

No. 7 Hortense – Bet Now: $2.40

Hortense has an excellent chance to return to winning form at Wangaratta.

It has been a while between race wins, but he has been racing well in stronger company than this.

Lachlan Neindorf in the saddle is a positive and he will be able to take him straight to the front in the early stages of this contest.

Wangaratta – Race 9 5:00PM AEST

No. 19 Sirius Deal – Bet Now: $SP.00

Sirius Deal has earnt a place in this field and he looks like the horse to beat.

The Dundeel gelding has been racing in very consistent fashion and there was a lot to like about the way that he found the line at Warrnambool last start.

The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but he does have the early speed to take up a forward position.
