This is a drop in class for Madlenka after she failed to fire at Ladbrokes Park Sandown las start.

There is no quality in what is a very weak field and the Moshe filly has shown more upside than her rivals in this contest.

Damien Thornton will be able to take her straight to the front in the early stages of this contest and she will give her rivals something to catch.

Ballarat – Race 7 3:30PM AEST

No. 1 Yankee Toff – Bet Now: $SP.00

Yankee Toff is well and truly over the odds at his current price of $8.50.

He had no luck in running at Ballarat first-up and he ran some of the fastest closing sectionals in the race last start.

The Toorak Toff gelding will settle in the second half of the field, but he will be storming home in the concluding stages of this race.

Ballarat – Race 8 4:00PM AEST

No. 1 Battle Master – Bet Now: $5.00

Battle Master will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but I still think that he has the quality to win this contest.

He was unlucky not to get the job done at Ballarat last start and his record at this venue is very consistent.

This is a drop in class and this is his chance to make a return to winning form.

Ballarat – Race 9 4:30PM AEST

No. 9 Tinszel – Bet Now: $5.00

Tinszel was able to break through for a maiden race win at Ballarat last start and it now would not surprise to see her string together a few wins.

This is not the strongest race and, at her best, she has a turn-of-foot that can’t be matched by any other horse in this field.
