“A powerful catalogue full of stakes-winning race mares, broodmares in foal to some of the world’s leading stallions as well as stallion shares and blueblood weanlings” boasts William Inglis & Son in introducing their inaugural The Chairman’s Sale – Session II for Elite Breeding Prospects.

Following the highly successful Elite Racing Prospects session of The Chairman’s Sale this Elite Breeding Prospects sale will be held on Friday 7 April, from 5.00pm, at Newmarket, Randwick.

Conducted the day after the Australian Easter Yearling Sale this 93-lot catalogued is held prior to Day 2 of The Championships with the running of the Queen Elizabeth Stakes and the Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale on 10, 11 and 12 April.

The Gr2 Rubiton Stakes winner Heatherly and Yattarna, the Gr3 James HB Carr Stakes winner, head the 9 race fillies and mares catalogued.

Last season’s Gr1 Queensland Oaks winner Provocative, who is in foal to Tavistock, features is amongst 51 Broodmares including the recently retired duel Group 2 winner’s Don’t Tell Mamma and French Fern.

Additional group and listed winners include Candelara, Harlem River, Honey Flower, Lady Sniper, Members Joy, Miss Darcey, So Pristine plus Shigeru Sendan with a Written Tycoon colt foal at foot.

The Fastnet Rock mare Close To My Heart is a three-quarter sister to the Group 2 winner Admiralofthefleet and is the family of sires Exit To Nowhere and Michiavellian, being in foal to Frankel. Plus, many mares are in foal to the likes of Fastnet Rock, Snitzel, Exceed And Excel, I Am Invincible and Written Tycoon.

Secret Cause, by Giant’s Causeway, is the dam of Gr1 South Australian Derby winner Escado and is in foal to Pride of Dubai, while the Storm Cat mare Subtle Bridge is the dam of duel Group 1 winner Trust In A Gust and in foal to Toronado.

Day 1 of The Championships highlighted that Flame of Sydney is now selling as the dam of Gr1 Inglis Sires Produce winner Invader in addition to Group 2 winner Not Listenin’tome, and is in foal to Medaglia d’Oro.

The Gr3 Widden Stakes winner Property is a daughter of Opalize, and is selling in-foal to Sizzling. Acatour, by Sebring, is now a duel Group 3 winner in claiming the Carbine Club Stakes with her dam Adonia Queen selling in-foal to Sebring.

Widden Stud is offering two shares in their highly successful sire Sebring, the Champion 2YO Sire of 2007-08. A lifetime breeding right to Champion First Season Sire I Am Invincible is being offered by Summerhill Thoroughbreds.

Fairhill Farm is offering one share in the former Champion First Season Sire Hinchinbrook and a lifetime breeding right to I Am Invincible. Additional wild card entries include two shares in the duel Group 1 winner Extreme Choice who retires to Newgate Farm in 2017.

A quality Weanling session features 25 juveniles by such popular sires as Fastnet Rock, Snitzel, Choisir, Medaglia d’Oro, So You Think and Pierro plus new sires Brazen Beau, Dissident, Deep Field, Shooting To Win and Olympic Glory.

There are Weanlings that are direct relations to Russian Revolution, Unencumbered and Black Minx, plus the progeny of stakes-winning dams including Dorf Command, Echo Maid, Impetuous, Lilakyn, Lovemelikearock, Sweet Sanette and Walk Alone.
