Treading very wearily with a wet track and a couple of well backed unraced runners in 2 PINCH MEMORY & 3 SPIRIT OF CHEROKEE. Happy to sit this one out and watch to start the day.

5 EXPERTEA is racing in great heart, she has a suitable racing pattern being able to race near the speed. She should settle handy to the front and is the horse to beat. 4 PERILOUS LOVE has a couple of 8th placing’s next to her name from her last 2 starts, but her runs have been better than that. The soft track today brings her well into contention here. She looks the one at the EW price that will race well.

15 MAYBE EVEN YOU has come up very short in the early markets, off a good last start win. She races well over the 1600m, the query is she has had 5 goes on rain affected tracks for no placing’s. In a race that looks wide open, I’m happy to play 7 LEGENDARY LUKE at the odds. He has been getting back and running on, and can run on into the money.

Looks a 2 horse between 3 JOHNNY WHITESOX & 8 SUSURRI here. Both horses look to handle a soft track, both race near the speed, and on the strength of their last runs, both look hard to beat. 3 JOHNNY WHITESOX was impressive winning first up, strips fitter here and well drawn. 8 SUSURRI was enormous last time, sitting 4-5 wide the entire and still running second to the inform BAT A KAT. They look to fight it out.

4 DREAM FINNISH is a horse that sprints well fresh, and is another who will appreciate the genuine tempo here. 2 STELLA OMBRA will enjoy the wet track and should race well, 7 BOOMWAA is racing well also just a slight worry with the wet.

*DISCALIMER my girl 15 NOW YOU SEE engaged here, but drawn horrible. If she had drawn a decent gate I would have recommended something EW, she has comeback bigger and stronger and will race very well. If she gets any luck in the first 400m of the race, she can win. 6 TVERSKY is short enough, but has drawn well, will race on speed and looks hard to beat. 2 IM ALONE wasn’t disgraced last time in a race on MAGIC MILLIONS DAY, he will need a lot of luck getting back in the field from an inside gate, but if he can pitch inside runs, can definitely be a blow out hope. 7 ZENDAYE handles the soft and from the gate will ether lead or box seat and will race well. 10 SILIQUA will get back and be charging late and 17 BRAVE DAZZLER can run into the money.

Bet: Hard to take the short price about 6 TVERSKY, so happy to have something EW 2 IM ALONE at a huge price.
Race 7
Class 3 1350m, with a *Disclaimer here with 2 MUSTARRID one I have a share in. He’s a super consistent horse, who will race well here. He also tries hard race day, but he is being set for a staying trip. And while I think he will race well, he may find the 1650m a bit sharp. 12 LYRICIST looks the one to gun down here for J LLOYD and T EDMONDS. I think the mare can roll forward and lob outside the lead or even lead, and be the horse to beat. She has a host dangers include 6,7,9,11,12 but they are all drawn horrible and will likely be in a less favorable position in running. With the wet and scratching’s I’m upgrading 7 DIAMONDS ARE as a genuine threat, and having a win bet.

2 TORGENSON looks the horse to beat here, but is another who is short enough. Its difficult to tip against him, as most of these have similar / less impressive form lines. He is the likely winner 2 TORGENSON, with 4 BRAZEN MOSS a hope also, but the 10 gate may be awkward for him. 1 SOMEDAY will appreciate the sting out today, and will improve off his last start run, he could attract a small saving WIN bet.

3 DIVINE SERVICE maps to get a good run, and she’s a winning hope at good odds also. She handles the soft track, is drawn well and worth a EW ticket. 6 ZIN ZAN EDDIE can race on speed and is an improver here, while 2 OINK will be hard to hold out now he gets to 1350m for the first time this preparation. 10 SHES MISS DEVINE is the next best.
